UGC-NET Admit Card to be Released in Soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admit cards for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the June session of 2024 in August. Students who have applied for the exam can download their admit cards from the official UGC NET website (ugcnet.nta.ac.in) 2-3 days before the exam date.

The UGC NET exam is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 4, 2024. This examination is conducted twice a year to assess candidates for the positions of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Originally, the UGC NET June 2024 exam was held on June 18, but it was cancelled the following day due to suspicions of a paper leak. Investigations revealed that the exam paper might have been distributed on the dark web two days before the exam.

To download the admit card, candidates should follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the “Download admit card” link on the homepage.
3. Enter your credentials, such as the application number and date of birth.
4. The UGC NET 2024 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
5. Save and download the admit card for future use and reference.

It is crucial for candidates to carry a hard copy of their admit card on the exam day, as it is required for entry into the examination hall.

Additionally, the UGC NET June 2024 exam, previously conducted in pen and paper (offline) mode, will now be held as a computer-based test (CBT).
